Progress built through partnership
Cara Collective’s 2025 annual report offers a detailed view of how workforce development reaches beyond a single job placement. The report recognizes job seekers, staff members, employers, donors, and volunteers who contribute to a shared goal: helping people build stable, meaningful careers and stronger futures.
Measurable outcomes
During 2025, Cara Collective reported placing job seekers into 1,229 jobs. Its Cleanslate social enterprise collected 2,488 tons of trash through neighborhood beautification work, while volunteers contributed 2,075 hours in support of job seekers. Cara Plus affiliates created 138 jobs through their work with organizations and employers.
These numbers represent different dimensions of the organization’s impact. A placement can mean a new source of income and routine for a participant. A volunteer hour can offer encouragement, practice, or professional connection. A Cleanslate crew can provide transitional work while contributing to safer, better-kept public spaces. Together, the outcomes demonstrate an ecosystem of support rather than a single intervention.
People behind the results
The annual report also centers the stories of participants whose lives changed through career coaching, training, and opportunity. Workforce progress is most meaningful when it is sustained: when an individual is able to keep a job, advance professionally, strengthen relationships, and contribute to the wellbeing of a family or community.
Cara Collective’s three-year strategic plan focused on deepening participant experience, strengthening team purpose, championing equity, and advancing systemic impact. The 2025 results illustrate how those priorities take shape in practice through direct service, employer partnerships, and efforts to share effective approaches more broadly.
Investing in possibility
At Sai Kripalu Foundation, we value partnerships that combine practical assistance with a belief in human potential. Cara Collective’s report is a reminder that supporting people on a path to work creates benefits that reach outward—to families, workplaces, and neighborhoods. We celebrate the progress documented in the report and the collective effort that made it possible.
