On May 1st, 2025, as we celebrated National College Decision Day, we were deeply moved to welcome Amber Payne, a cherished alumna of Morgan Park Academy, back to her roots. Amber's journey, a testament to the transformative power of education and the enduring strength of the human spirit, resonated profoundly with our students, teachers, and families.
Amber, who spent her formative years at Morgan Park Academy, embodies the values of compassion and service that we hold dear. After graduating, she pursued her academic aspirations with unwavering dedication, earning degrees from Vanderbilt University and Belmont University College of Law. Today, she serves as a Law Fellow in Vanderbilt University's Office of the General Counsel, extending her support and expertise to various campus partners.
A Message of Hope and Inclusion
During her address to the Class of 2025, Amber shared a powerful message of hope and inclusion, reminding them that their unique backgrounds and experiences are their greatest strengths. “I knew that I would not be the student or the lawyer or woman I am without MPA,” Amber shared, her words echoing the profound impact of a nurturing and inclusive community.
